Vermont based photographic artist Evy Huppert works with traditional film, alternative processes, and digital media to explore themes of memory, dream, mythology, and imaginative narrative through landscape, portraiture, object work, and book-making.
Huppert’s fine art photography based works have been exhibited in venues throughout the country, including Boston, New York, Denver, Vermont, New Hampshire, Georgia, and Texas, as well as online exhibitions. Her work was awarded 2019 Critical Mass Finalist and she has been interviewed or featured in numerous publications, including Lenscratch, SHOTS Magazine, SxSE Photomagazine, and Rfotofolio Annual, The Hand Magazine, and Diffusion Annual X.
Originally from Minnesota, she earned her BA in English Literature from Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio, and has studied photography with the San Francisco Art Institute, Maine Media Workshops+College, the Griffin Museum of Photography, among others, as well as completing a mentorship with renowned photographer Douglas Beasley.
